This is one of the best multi use products released by Nuxe for a while.
Bought one Tin and have now stocked up during French Pharmacy promotion.
User friendly packaging - easy to throw in your bag.
This balm has a lovely fragrance, (light, fresh, slightly honeyed but not cloying) a good texture, not waxy, easy to warm in your hands and apply where ever, and a little goes a long way.
The ingredients list indeed shows that balm is mainly composed of natural oils and plant based ingredients.

I use it in multiple ways. As a lip balm, cuticle and hand conditioner, on dry or rough areas anywhere, , hair flyaways and ends, patted on as a change from facial oil, and extra protection on face for winter cold. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to use it too.

After my skin became irritated and rosacea prome this winter I tried various French pharmacy creams to try and alleviate my red sensitised skin to no avail. I already had the emulsion, which helped more than anything else, but then discovered the cream. After a week of use, my skin is much more comfortable, less red and irritated. I am impressed. The cream is richer, but still hydrating and leaves the skin looking fresh. It is very much suited to my skin which likes to be hydrated and protected without feeling too greasy. I highly recommend this product.

I have used this hand cream on and off for years and due to the winter weather and a nasty virus that left my skin really dry I decided to treat myself to the full size version.
It's a very effective cream. It's thick, but doesn't leave a sticky residue, has a pleasant fragrance without being over powering, leaves hands supple and moisturised and looking good! 4 stars rather than as it really is pricey for a hand cream, (buy it on offer if you can) and also it can be tricky to get out of the tube. Otherwise, a great and timeless product.

I bought this after finding I had red, itchy blotchy dry skin on my cheeks after a particularly nasty bug .I was concerned that I could have developed rosacea and as nothing in my arsenal of creams,and lotions was working, in desperation I found and bought this cream.
This is more of a cream than a balm. It is easy to apply to the skin and isn't too thick.
There is no fragrance to speak of.
This soothing balm calmed my skin down over the course of the first day I used it, and continued to reduce irritation and redness and normalise my skin over the next couple of days. I was relieved and delighted.

After a streaming cold, recently left me with left dry, itchy, dehydrated skin with areas of redness, I searched for a product to put my ravaged skin to rights. I have used a few La Rosce Lossy products in the past and they seem to be very effective so when came across this cream in the French Pharmacy promotion I thought I"d give it a try.
The cream is contained in a glass jar.
The scent is a light unobtrusive Norfolk type fragrance. Very pleasant.
The texture is a cream, but not a heavy one, and very easy to disperse over the skin without dragging.
The cream hydrates and protects the skin very effectively, without leaving a heavy or greasy residue on the skin, which makes it appropriate for the majority of skin types.
I noticed a difference in my skin as soon as I used it, and am very impressed. I have since stocked up with more of this excellent cream.
I also layer this with serum and face oil, for added effectiveness.
A very good face cream, very effective, non irritating. I highly recommend it.

I have wanted to purchase this cleansing balm for a while now. I have other items from the Darphin range and although quite expensive, have found them to be lovely products, made with quality ingredients.
This balm has been recommended in magazines quite a lot and I like the idea of cleansing balms.

Applying the product to a wet face as instructed, the product was quite hard to disperse evenly over the face given its texture. It turns milky once applied and water mixes with it.
When rinsing my face, I felt the balm had not been rinsed off properly and even after further rinsing with a muslin cloth, my face felt as if there was still a film of the balm on my skin. Given this is a cleanser, this did not make me feel my skin was fully cleansed in a good way and this was disappointing.
The scent of the balm is very pleasing.

No doubt this cleansing balm has good ingredients and a pleasing scent but sadly it's waxiness makes its effectiveness disappointing.

I have been suffering with peri oral dermatitis and also a form of it round my eyes. I cut right back on skin products to no avail but Cicalfate repair cream has cleared the dermatitis completely. I am very impressed. My teenage son has found it very effective to use on spots too. I use other products in the Avene range including Tolerence extreme cream and find the range very effective and well priced.
